RE: Cold feet....in slow motion....
What if one of us gets seriously ill and we are so far away from home, then what???
If you belong to FMCA they have a program called MEDEX that is included in your yearly dues of $35.00 that not only will get you and your family home but also will arrange to get your motorhome home.

RE: CradelPoint MBR1000
Before you get your panties all twisted up and get bent out of shape I did do that but the software had a glitz in it where it would not accept the letter (b).
It wanted a PASSWORD NOT the ADMINISTRATIVE password. Sorry if my call to tech support might cost you a few cents.
By the way it is a MBR1000 not a MBR100
RE: CradelPoint MBR1000
Purchased the CradlePoint MBR1000 this past week and had to call the 3Gstore tech center for some help as it asked me for a pass word in the setup process. The tech person was able to work around this and the MBR1000 works great with AT&T's 875U air card from sierra.
RE: Where to Fuel???
Grey Eagle is correct about cutting over to US281 we took his advise last year and cut over at Riviera. Excellent roads. Don't worry about traffic on US83 that is like being out in the boondocks after spending a winter in Southwest Florida around Ft. Myers and that area.
Dry Rub 4 Pork
Mix the following ingredients and rub your pork ribs with this and wrap in foil and cook on grill or in oven at 275* for 3 hours and then unwrap and cook for another hour or so. No sauce needed. You can use this on any type of pork roast.
What ever is left over place in air tight container and save for future use.
BBQ DRY RUB
2 Cups brown sugar firmly packed
1 Cup paprika
1/4 Cup of kosher salt
1/2 Cup of garlic powder
9 Tablespoons of black pepper
6 Teaspoons of celery seeds
1/4 Cup of onion powder
3 Tablespoon of Red pepper flakes
FALL COLORS
We were in the tri-state area of KY, TN and VA this past weekend and it has been so dry in that area that the leaves are turning and falling already. This is in the Cumberland Gap National Park area.
If you are looking for an area with breath taking scenery and no tourists this is the place it is a hidden gem. We were driving South on I-75 and took exit 29 the Corbin exit and took U.S. HWY 25-E South to Middlesboro KY and the Cumberland Gap area the scenery was fantastic.
RE: Looking at Walnut meadows in Ky
Walnut Meadows is OK nothing to brag about. Oh Kentucky Campground is just before Walnut Meadows about the same. South of Berea is Renfro Valley RV park which is much nicer and has entertainment on Saturday nights. Country music people from Nashville.
RE: Hurricane IKE: WARNING
HaftaCamp quote "He doesn't want to go through the evacuation disaster again."
He probably wont have to worry about evacuation again.
It's not the wind it is the WATER SURGE that creates most of the damage. Unless you have been through one of these storms you can not imagine the destruction they can cause.
